Lincoln was on fire Tuesday (10.15.26) when Godsmack and Dorothy rolled through on the Rise of the Rock tour! A few thousand rock fans made their way to the Pinnacle Bank Arena to catch all the action.

The night started with the band Dorothy from LA. Lead singer Dorothy Martin told the crowd she's been in the music game for over 12 years at this point. The way her band shook the crowd with their bluesy, jangly rock tunes you could tell she's a seasoned pro. The crowd was digging her all black style as she swayed across the stage going back to back with her guitarist and bass player. It was a fun set. If you get the chance Dorothy's definitely worth checking out!

Waiting by the stage I could hear the house music blared "Shipping Up To Boston" by the Dropkick Murphys, a fitting song for the "Bad Boys of Boston". A giant black banner draped across. As the sound of engines cut through the air the curtain dropped and the band stepped forth. The rise of the rock had begun!

Sully and the boys hit us with "Generation Day" followed by "When Legends Rise". The stage filled with smoke as the band tore their guitars and drums to shreds. Sully addressed the crowd and thanked everyone for showing so much support over the years. He said "Let's throw it back with this one". While the song "1000 HP" is only a few years old its subject matter refers to the band getting their start on the streets of Boston and having the time of their lives. It's got a great beat and driving guitars that make you want to stomp your feet and bob along. Honestly one of the highlights of the set for me.

For over an hour Godsmack took Lincoln on a journey across their discography with hits like "Keep Away", "Voodoo", and their breakout song from 1998 "Whatever". This was a really fun one and I'm stoked I got to capture this legendary band! Big thanks to 104.1 The Blaze for continuing to bring awesome shows to Lincoln. I can't wait to see what they have lined up for next year!

Thanks to Mammoth Live and Godsmack management for photo access. Thanks for reading and we'll see you at the next one!
