SOLD OUT: Insane Clown Posse!

Thursday night in Omaha (9.10.26) was popping off! After a last-minute re-schedule from back in April the dark carnival rolled into town for a night of wicked carnage.

Originally Insane Clown Posse was scheduled to perform on April 13. Minutes before the doors opened the band posted that their was sickness in their camp and they had to re-schedule. They already had the new date booked and so the anticpation for September 10 began. Finally the day had arrived and the juggalos of Omaha showed out in full force for a complete sellout!

As the clock struck 9:30 the wicked clowns stepped forth ready to throw down! Ripping into "Dead Body Man" the crowd surged foward with hands in the air and phones out ready to take photos and video. Looking over the balcony it felt like nearly every person was covered head to toe in ICP merch. One thing about ICP is they have a die-hard fanbase like no other. I wouldn't be suprised if the tour had a semi-truck just for merch alone. The fans lined up to snap up shirts, hoodies, vinyl records, and hockey jerseys. I saw a super cool leather jacket that featured art from the Riddlebox album so it was all purple and green. So cool, but for $250 I had to pass.

Another unique aspect of ICP shows is the celebration of the soda brand Faygo. Known for its affordability and wide range of flavors, Faygo is a Midwest staple of soft drinks. The brand has become synonymous with Insane Clown Posse as the band has been soaking their fans in the liquid at every show for years. Last night was no exeption. As soon as the first beat started Violent Jay and Shaggy 2 Dope were twisting bottles of Faygo and launching them into the crowd. The Admiral was prepared and had plastic lining the walls and the chandilear. Knowing there was going to be sodas flying everywhere I took no chances with my camera gear and shot from the balcony. I managed to make it out unscathed but two bottles came really close to getting me as they whizzed past my head into the fans next to me.

Shaggy and Jay stuck to the hits and didn't change the set much from the last time they played Omaha in 2025, but that's ok. The fans who were there were having the time of their life rocking out to the classics like "Hocus Pokus", "Let's Go All The Way", "The Neden Game", and "Eff The World". During one of the later songs "Hall of Illusions" Shaggy said to the crowd "It's almost 2027 and ICP is still going, we're not going anywhere!". A few years ago ICP had said they were closing in on retirement, but I guess they found their second wind. With how packed the Admiral was it just shows that ICP has staying power even as Shaggy and Jay head into their late 50s. I wouldn't be suprised to see ICP back in Omaha next year. With how much fun their shows are I have a good feeling you can catch us there.
