Spoti-Five: Hot Tracks April 9-13, 2018

Foster The People – “Sit Next to Me”

Foster The People have been steadily growing in popularity over the last few years, producing several hits including “Pumped Up Kicks,” “Helena Beat,” and “Coming of Age.” Now they’re back with a new single from last summer’s “Sacred Hearts Club.” “Sit Next to Me” reached number 7 on Billboard’s hot rock songs chart for the week of April 2, 2018.

Red Sun Rising – “Deathwish”

“Deathwish” is the first single from Red Sun Rising’s newly released album “Thread.” The song has been steadily spinning on rock radio and shows no signs of stopping. The band will be on tour this summer supporting The Used.

Muse – “Thought Contagion”

Within the first few seconds of “Thought Contagion,” you can already tell this is the house Matthew Bellamy built. The song has a really cool sci-fi vibe that recalls the days of “Uprising” and “Supermassive Black Hole.” The song reached number 16 on Billboard’s hot rock song charts for the week of April 2, 2018.

The Fever 333 – “Walking in My Shoes”

As I stated in my recent article, The Fever 333 are a band on a mission. Their new single “Walking in My Shoes” has a catchy chorus reminiscent of “Faint” by Linkin Park. The song hits that perfect mixture of screaming verse with a clean chorus. Fists will be pumping all across the U.S. to “Walking in My Shoes” this summer.

Gideon – “Freedom”

“Freedom” is just a banger of a song. With lyrics like “With your fists clenched tight in the air tonight, throw em up!” you know this is going to be a heavy track. This song works perfectly for hitting the treadmill or the punching bag, depending on your level of workout intensity.
