Drop everything! Rise Against is going on tour with one of the greatest bands of all time, AFI!
The Mourning in Amerika tour kicks off in Montreal on July 27 and wraps up in Irvine, CA on September 30 with 29 dates in total. Rise Against are touring in support of their latest album “Wolves” and AFI is still going strong on their touring cycle for the self-titled “Blood” album.
I was able to see AFI at Sokol Auditorium in Omaha, NE on July 25, 2017, and they absolutely killed it. I may be a little biased having seen the band 6 times previously, but I feel like it’s an accurate statement.
I’ve never seen Rise Against live, but I have four of their albums from when buying CDs was still a thing. I’m definitely looking forward to this one. I’ll be traveling to The Armory in Minneapolis to catch the show on September 6. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 30.
